We Value The Clear Teaching And Application Of Scripture
The Bible is God’s inspired word, the authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice for all Christians. The Bible is both timeless and timely, relevant to the common needs of all people at all times and to the specific problems of contemporary living. We are committed to equipping Christians, through the preaching and teaching of God’s word, to follow Christ in every sphere of life. We will strive to maintain a balance between hearing the word of God and doing what it instructs.
We Value Prayer
The Christian life is a spiritual battle that needs to be constantly reinforced through prayer. Therefore, we will support our ministries and members through our personal prayer and as we gather as a church family.
We Value People
Every individual is the unique creation of God, eternally valuable to him. We commit ourselves to love each person with whom we come in contact. We will accept people where they are, but love them enough to challenge them to become everything that God wants them to be.
We Value Family
The family is under attack in today’s society. It is our desire to do everything we can, to give our families the tools they need to be successful. We will seek to do so through encouragement, counseling, modeling, and instruction from God’s word through Bible teaching, preaching, seminars, books, videotapes, etc.
We Value Relevance
We will seek to be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure. We are more concerned with the effectiveness in ministry than keeping with traditions. Through each of our ministries we encourage flexibility and adaptability.
We Value Excellence
The God of our Salvation deserves the best we have to offer. When ministry is carried out to the best of our ability, it reflects positively on our Savior and it inspires people. Therefore, in our ministries and activities we will do our best with the time, resources and people available to us. We will limit ourselves only to doing as much as can be done well.
We Value Members
The primary responsibility of the pastors in the local church is to “prepare God’s people for works of service” (Eph. 4). Therefore, we believe that every adult member in our church should be actively serving through a ministry of this church.
