This spring, New Life Baptist Church will be hosting a Bible study for Erwin Lutzer’s book, Christ Among Other gods: A Defense of Christ in an Age of Tolerance. You’ve heard it said, “All religions are equal.” But do you know how to respond? Tolerance imagines all religions as spokes of one wheel, spinning everyone together in harmony with God. This wheel simply doesn’t hold up. Through this study, you will understand how to describe the uniqueness of Christ, defend the claims of Christianity and debunk the myths that many tout. The tensions between tolerance and truth are growing, as are the challenges of representing Christ in today’s world. This study will help you understand and navigate these challenges. It gives you the facts you need to counter the claims of false religions with the truth of Christ. And what is more, it will help you fall more in love with Jesus, the only way, truth, and life.
Please join us Sundays starting March 19th, 2017 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm through the end of May for a time of Bible study, fellowship and prayer. The Bible study will be held at New Life Baptist Church and a children’s ministry program will be provided as well.
